Archive.London provides access to selected photograph previews, archive descriptions, editorial material and research pathways. The website is for general information and evaluation. It is not legal, financial, valuation, authentication, conservation, insurance, historical or other professional advice.
Catalogue information
The Robert Harper Photograph Library is an extensive working archive. Records may derive from historic labels, contact sheets, inventory descriptions, file names, notes, visual assessment and continuing research.
Although we take reasonable care, information may be incomplete, provisional or mistaken. Dates may be approximate. Locations, people, brands, objects and events may require verification. Phrases such as catalogued as, associated with, believed to be and unverified are material qualifications.
